Landscape Garden Edging Stones
You can easily edge up your gravel driveway with Landscape Garden Edging Stones. A concrete edging stone is like a mini kerb. Just as a kerb is used on roads, edgings are used for driveways and paths. They are especially effective on borders to retain decorative garden aggregates and to add definition to lawns, paths and drives. We stock a large selection of edgings with a choice of attractive designs that will suit most paths, drives, gravel and lawn areas. Choose from colours to match our Living Stone paving range - slate, terracotta, autumn brown, weathered bronze, yorkstone, mellow buff, harvest gold, pewter and limestone. Full pallets of path edgings are used by commercial landscapers and garden contractors and these are now available on direct home delivery for home garden and landscaping projects. For greater stability we recommend that you lay edging in mortar, although it can be laid directly into soil.
HOW TO LAY GARDEN STONE EDGING
1. Excavate a trench as a foundation using 6 parts ballast to 1 part cement.
2. Lay the edging in mortar (3 to 4 parts building sand to 1 part cement) against the paving, gravel or lawn. Gently tap in, using spirit level across each edging.
3. Back fill the edging with mortar.
We deliver pallets of edging stones to your home, direct from the factory so if you use our secure, easy to use order systems you can be sure of a rapid response with quality paving edging products delivered to your door normally within 7 days.
