Ballast Mix used to make concrete

Ballast mix is a mixture of sand and small stones or pebbles for making concrete. It is used with cement and water to form a concrete slurry that sets hard. Tip: When measuring out the cement and ballast (or sharp sand/gravel), use a bucket rather than measuring by 'shovel loads', you will get more ballast on a shovel than cement. A single bulk bag contains at least 850kg (approximately 0.7m3) Supplied on a single non returnable pallet.
