Green Slate 40mm weathered shards of naturally green coloured slate. This slate is geologically ancient. Probably laid down half a billion years ago. It is widely acknowledged as a premium roofing material, due to it's proven durability and beautiful colours. The roofing industry inevitably produces waste offcuts of material not suitable for roofing but ideal for slate chippings in garden landscaping. We deliver bulk bags of this recycled slate material direct from our packing centre to your home. Suitable for fish (wash before use) 40mm grade range Sourced from Cumbria. A single bulk bag of slate contains at least 850kg (approximately 0.7m3) and will cover approximately 16.8m2 (180 square feet)of ground when laid 5cm deep. Supplied on a single non returnable pallet.
