Organic composts and soil conditioner ideal for garden horticulture
Our blended organic bulk bags of compost are drawn from our Lincolnshire composting facility where we employ modern engineering techniques to utilise windrow composting This is a large scale farm composting method, producing bulk quantities of compost by piling organic matter or biodegradable waste, such as animal manure and crop residues, in long rows (windrows) The windrows are turned to improve porosity and oxygen content. By careful management, we are able to mix in or remove moisture, and redistribute cooler and hotter portions of the pile. In controlling the composting process we adjust the ratios of carbon and nitrogen rich materials and add bulking agent to ensure air porosity, the pile size, moisture content, and turning frequency. We are able to offer six distinctly different speciality composting products, each having individual applications.
